The Missions Experience

Where has the year gone? November already? Just wow! It has been an amazing year, and we have seen our church blossom with God moving in the lives of believers and new believers. Can’t wait to see what 2026 brings!!

In our Bible in One Year Study, we have come to what is known as The Triumphal Entry. The beginning of Jesus’ final week before his death and resurrection. With the chronological order, it’s great to see how the gospels pair up with the life of Jesus. The link is on our website’s Home Page.

Visit the church’s website to see  What’s Happening at FBC Charlotte. You can read about and sign up for events, give tithes and offerings, and contact us.

We now have an ASL interpreter available for our second service!

Our Mission Opportunities

Thank you, church family, for making Fall Fest a great success!! It’s such a blessing to reach into our community and spread the Word of God. This month, we will be collecting for our Thanksgiving Baskets. You can donate financially or meal items such as boxed stuffing or canned vegetables. See Jeff Bray or Suzanne Craig for details.

FBCC Children’s Ministry News

Our children have been busy this fall! Last Sunday, they joyfully shared their first choir performance at church singing, “As the Deer Pants for the Water.”  Their sweet voices were such a blessing to everyone.

On Wednesday nights, some of the children have been learning about stewardship, and others are walking through the history of the Old Testament. They also created cards and videos to thank our pastor for his service to our church. They’re also excited to help with our Fall Fest on October 31 and are already preparing to pack shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated items for the Fall Fest and the shoebox ministry. Your generosity makes these opportunities possible. Our precious children truly love this church—and you are a big part of the reason why!! Thank you for loving us well.

Gratefully,

         ~~Zane Williams

A Word From Pastor Duane

Psalm 100:1-5 says:

1Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you land!

2Serve the Lord with gladness.

Come before His presence with singing.

3Know that the Lord, He is God.

It is He who has made us, and not us ourselves;

We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

4Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,

And into His courts with praise.

Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

5For the Lord is good;

His mercy is everlasting,

And His truth endures to all generations.

We have SO much for which to be thankful, and in this Psalm, we find intentionality. Notice the challenges, the calls, and even the statements. Take the challenges, calls, and statements and be thankful. If it is not easy, be thankful; if it is challenging, be thankful; if you feel ingenuine, choose to be thankful; and when joy is overflowing, be thankful! I am thankful for each of you. Happy Thanksgiving!

               We are still going through the process to get the information we need to provide a cost estimate for the new building. Please continue to pray, give, be patient, and be united.

Be Blessed! I love you all!
