The Missions Experience

March opens the door to spring. Say goodbye to the chilly and hello to warmer temperatures. Spring also encapsulates new beginnings. Why not join a Sunday School class? We are starting new sessions this month. Perfect time to start your new beginning.

In our Bible in One Year Study, we are beginning Numbers in the OT and in Hebrews in the NT. Join us as we read through God’s word. Check out the link on our website’s Home Page or get your paper copy from the foyer.

You can visit the church’s website to see What’s Happening at FBC Charlotte. Read about and sign up for events, give tithes and offerings, and contact us.

We now have an ASL interpreter available for our second service!

Our Mission Opportunities

We had an amazing evening last Saturday at FBC Charlotte’s future location. We were able to sit and envision what tomorrow holds. That night is just the beginning. The Celebration Banquet giving opportunity is just the start. For those who committed, thank you. For others, it still isn’t too late. Join us in creating our next home for future generations.

FBCC Children’s Ministry News

I’m back from Peru with a grateful heart and stories of God’s faithfulness. Because of your prayers and support, our mission trip was a profound success. I want to share a few highlights of how your generosity and prayer impacted lives across the miles.

Week one focused on Children’s Ministry training. We held sessions in two locations, reaching representatives from 20 different churches.

It was encouraging that the impact was immediate. I’ve received photos from two of the leaders we trained, showing them using the materials and lessons with their children. Your prayer support helped us plant seeds of faith in the hearts of Peruvian youth.

During week two, Sid and I had the privilege of ministering to 46 pastoral couples in Urubamba. We led two specific sessions:

1. Foundations of the Gospel for Relationships: Focusing on how Christ-centered love transforms a life, a marriage, a family and a congregation

2. Grace and Forgiveness: We explored these "Two Greatest Gifts" through a powerful exercise where we circled the foot of the cross, reflecting on seven thoughts that lead us toward true forgiveness.

It was a beautiful week of synergy; every team member’s message meshed perfectly. The couples were incredibly receptive, showering us with love and hugs as they shared how much the teaching meant to them.

Before heading to the mountains, we hosted a romantic dinner for about 50 pastoral couples around Lima. "Thank you" everyone who donated neckties! We distributed them that evening. The pastors were deeply touched by the gesture and the "ties" that bind our churches together.

Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus. Your prayer support strengthened leaders, encouraged marriages, and equipped a new generation of teachers.

Gratefully,

Zane Williams

A Word From Pastor Duane

The Project 139 Celebration Banquet was WONDERFUL! Thank you – to the team who planned the evening, the folks who helped bring everything to reality, those who prepared food, those who participated in the program, and you! Thank you for committing to give $900,000.00 over the next 3 years. I am excited to see what the Lord will do with our obedience and faith!

If you have not made your commitment to Project 139, please pick up a card, fill it out, and place it in the offering plate. We will add your commitment to the others. Please continue to seek the Lord for His provision to accomplish what He has called us to do. Let’s keep going!

“For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.”

I Corinthians 3:9

We are NOT alone!

As Spring arrives, what is the Lord doing to move you from dormancy to a full display of His activity in your life? May I encourage you to grow in Jesus? Don’t be satisfied with just making it another day or week. As the Lord works, submit to Him, and GROW!

I love you all and am so blessed to serve our Lord with you
