The Missions Experience
We are now in May. We get to celebrate Mom and many teenagers are walking the stage and into a new chapter of life. Give a hug, a word of encouragement, and tell them you love them. The provider of life and the vision of the future; God bless each of you.
Our Bible in One Year study continues. We are now in Samuel and reading about David becoming King. This chronological study reads along with Psalms. David wrote many of them. This will be amazing as they pair up with David’s life. Join us in our study of God’s Word. It’s never too late to begin. The link is on our website’s Home Page.

Our Mission Opportunities
VBS is quickly approaching. June 1st-5th. Through this month, please pray for God to draw children and for them to be open to Christ. Pray for workers to share the gospel well and for their endurance. It will be an amazing week for us to spread the gospel in our community.
FBCC Children’s Ministry News
I want to thank you for the support you gave Duane, Sharon, Sid, and me on our recent Bolivia mission trip. Your prayers were answered. God did amazing things! We saw fifty-one pastoral couples encouraged through our week of ministering to them. These couples were so grateful for the time to get away to be recharged for their ministries. The gifts of scarves and ties were greatly appreciated. Duane and Sharon did a tremendous job with their teaching sessions and their one one-on-one interactions. Sid and I were blessed to share one session and also interact with these couples.
The following week, Sid and I were able to train around 80 teachers in children's ministry. It was an amazing experience working alongside the church in Tarija doing outreach as well. We did one outdoor outreach in a neighborhood where the church has plans to plant a church. We also participated in three programs in two different schools. Through these outreaches, we witnessed many children and adults coming to Christ. One man was the physical education teacher. He said he had never heard the gospel presented so clearly and he prayed the prayer to accept Christ. He then proceeded to invite us to the other five schools where he works.
God is so good. Thank you for praying for us. Your prayers sustained us. To God be the glory!

A Word From Pastor Duane
“Not unto us O Lord, not unto us, but to Your name give glory, because of Your mercy, because of Your truth. Why should the Gentiles say, so where is their God?” Psalm 115:1-2
God continues to do Amazing work in our church! He alone is to receive the glory. We do NOT deserve what He is doing – He does it because of His mercy and truth, so the Gentiles – the world around us – CANNOT ask the question, so where is their God? His mercy and truth demonstrate who He is.
As we move forward in the building process, now is the time to seek the Lord about what you are to give. Would you spend some extended time asking the Lord what you and your family are to give so He alone receives the glory? The amount needed is BEYOND what we are able to do on our own, but God, in His mercy and truth, will receive the glory when we seek Him, trust Him, obey Him, and give as He directs.
Sharon and I have been giving as the Lord has led us for almost 2 yrs, and by His mercy, we will continue to give for His glory. Now is the time to join us in giving sacrificially and watch Him receive the glory.
Summer draws closer which means VBS is NEAR! June 1-5. Pray for VBS – the children, youth, and adults who will attend, the MANY workers who will be serving, the facilities, health, and safety, that people will be saved, and the Lord will add families to our church. Thank you for praying!
Then there are camps - children’s camp, youth camp, and progressive youth revival – pray, serve, and participate!
As you plan your summer activities, prioritize worship, even those Sundays you are not here, lead your family to worship with other believers, and GROW in the Lord.
